S/He got into the truck to drive 850 miles north with no radio. The family said "It would be faster to fly". S/He smiled and said "But I would miss so much of the journey" They were bewildered.

Across the room was a chair. It talked about iself. It had no arm rests and no padding. It said "I am for work; not resting you may sit, but be busy" That was not a chair for comfort. Another chair was in the corner. It had warm colored fabric. Soft fabric too. It had cushions and comfortable cushioned arms. That chair said "Relax, be comfortable, read a book, have a good conversation, stay a while"' Many objects in our world "talk". Do we listen? Are some people like chairs?

The common cold is a viral condition. The virus visits us and we feel uncomfortable. The discomfort is from the virus making it's self at home. The job of the virus is to live in us, grow and use us to carry it somewhere else. Our sneezing, coughing, and touching things that others touch is the way the virus "sends it pollen". What if we make the virus at home? What if we treat it like a unruly relative that comes to live with us? What if we find comfort in entertaining a cold? What would that be like? What would we do to find comfort in a cold?

So many thoughts we have about soul, about spirit. So many organizations with people telling us what they are and what they mean....to them..to their sacred teaching. We each have one. That is the truth. How do we know? Did a organization issue us one? Is the soul and spirit ours if it is in us? Who says we have to pay to talk to our soul, our spirit? Who says we have to perform tricks to talk to our spirit, our soul? If it is in me, it is mine, If it is mine, than what keeps me from commun-icating with it? What do people do when they cannot hear their spirit, their soul? Who are those people? Are they kind or mean?

This is the time of the long walkers. Change and time: How these two are linked. What is change to us as individuals? We see change around us all the time. What do we mean when we say "I can not change" ? Do we fear change? The long walkers are about change. They are an expression of change when they start their journey. When we start a journey is there change? Is change frightening? Are we like the long walkers? Do the long walkers fear change? Do we fear change?
