 Complicated simplicity

Seems one of the most difficult exercises is making something simple that is complicated.
Simple is a notion of ease of access wither an idea or a process.
Take, for instance, a poached egg. Seems simple but is complex as many folks find out.
Simplicity is a form of clarity. Keep it simple and keep it clear.
The irony of simplicity is that we often arrive at it by going through complexity. Like right now!
We humans love to try to explain things and in a way make things more complex than they really are. We will spend more time arguing than getting the job done. In a way we make something that is simple, complex.
That may be good for hiding a mistake or avoiding accountability but in the end it is just a lot of work.
Keep it simple, get it done and enjoy life.

 Bizarro

"In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act." George Orwell. (courtesy of Cavtrooper)

To get our independence and fully ratify the Constitution and Bill of Rights we had a revolution braking free of wicked King George.

Telling the truth is a notion that would be truly revolutionary and welcome in our life now.
What a concept!

 Rusty Trust

Trust is one of those things we do as humans that is based on memory.
We use our memory to keep information of the past available for our present choices. We also use memory for planning what we will do in the future. That future can be measured in minutes or years. Once again it is our choice.

Our trust is based on our experience. And in experience we carry so much. With people we trust by the behaviors we experience.
We learn to trust. But let that person not do what they say or stop doing what they always have done in the past..we lose trust in them.
When this happens enough our trust starts getting withheld from people in general as well as the person in question. We stop trusting. Time goes by and you have rusty trust.

Getting over lost trust is done through trusting..little trusts we use to build bigger trust.
We have to nurture trust and it must come from our trust in ourselves.

We must trust ourselves to give our trust successfully.
This means risking. little risks that grow to bigger trust.
We want to stay away from extravagant trust since those are setups. We give too much trust and it will be violated and then we use this to prove that others are untrustworthy. We set our selves up for loss.

Like charity, you give what trust you can, not more than you can afford.

Then Trust stops being rusty and becomes a bright gift we give to those we are willing to risk with.

Gizmos and ticky tacky; futile musings

Yo yo: Gizmo or official toy. Would operating a yo yo be better or worse than watching Television or watching videos?
Slide whistles: Ticky tacky or gizmo?
Kazoo: Well you know...what do you think?
Now I am no spring chicken but I still get a visceral thrill from the simple pleasure of operating a Yo yo. A White haired yo yo operator.

Make that a senior operator of a digitally connected, hand propelled, organic line arrested spinning device with dependent return and non-return capabilities.
A yo yo.
A yo yo can be operated during a phone call, listening to, or watching someone.
An air driven, mouth operated sound generating device (kazoo; slide whistle) you cannot listed to or hear someone.

At any rate When we don't use a yo yo and it sits idle on a table or desk, is it ticky tacky or gizmo?
Today's blog: Futile musings

 Flash Traffic

Not use something and then when you need it you find that you have lost it?
That combination to a lock, an address on a scrap of paper, a coffee cup, or glasses (dark or others)
I personally believe in some type of gremlin or troll. Usually the one that has socks that have disappeared from the dryer.
Frustrating and a nuisance.
Who to blame and who do we hold accountable?
Standby!
Yeah! That right, we are! Is it so bad to forget where we put something?
Who has the red pencil, whose is grading us?
Not I!
So now I think of looking for something as a chance to clean, to organize, and to get rid of unused items. I feel better with that line of thinking.
Now I will submerge in my cleaning since I have found what I was looking for.
