Victory is the false God of the unloved.
How we describe what we are doing are the brush strokes and colors. The painting is what has been done. What one observes is from the distance of a nanometer and as time passes the distance increases from the observer and the observed.
Process. Journey, growth, generate, and the like are the continuum. What we did yesterday, are doing today and what think we will do tomorrow. A course, a line between events and yet what counts is more than the event itself.
Strength in paper wings is they are light and carry us. Weakness in steel claws is they weigh us down and leave us clinging.
Having coffee in the morning with paper winged Titans, their wings endless laughter and joy, they give off light when there is none.
Passing in a shiny car steel claws scowling gripping in locked fear of letting go.
Meanwhile the clouds as white puffy sentinels, yawn at the drama and stretch effortless across the sky.
What was it they were saying?

We test all kinds of things. As kids, we test our parents and as parent we test our kids. We test our blood, our endurance, our knowledge, our patience, and about anything we care about or are concerned. How do we test if we have free choice? How do we test for truth? How do we test for honesty? Can we test if we are slaves or slave owners? What are the questions we would ask? How can we tell if what we are told is the truth?
Seems easy. What would you tell someone coming from another world, how to know if some one is telling the truth, or not? Not just half a truth that is laced with falsehoods. but the whole truth.. What test would you have for them, for yourself? Is there a way to live fully without testing, without challenging, without paying full attention to life? The fictitious Mr Roy Batty said, "To live in fear, that's what it is to be a slave" What do you think?

Seeing the moon, full and brightly cream colored is a joy for most. When the full moon is reflected in a pool of water the joy is doubled. Is the reflection less real?
How we reflect others and how others reflect us is much like the Moon's reflection in a pool. In some ways, it is a simple truth and in more ways, how we reflect others is much more complex.
With complexity there is a need for compassion that is honest and clear.
How do we reflect the suffering in another? How do we reflect the successes of others?
These are questions, which for some may be rhetorical, are for others just part of the journey inside our true self.
How could any journey in the understanding of others be anything else?

A sunny cool day, on the Pacific coast, surfers enter the water. It is a special day. The surf report stated big swells were coming from a far distant storm. A storm in the North East Pacific so far away that only the GOES Satellite registered it.
In wet suits, great walking black seals, the surfers entered the water. Catching the rip tide, they went out. About 9 am the big walls of water came rolling onto the reef. Thunder of great waves crashing in a cascade of foam and surf boomed along the coast. Most of the surfer's sat on their boards, facing the sets of waves coming in. A great swell gathered as it approached the surfers, a wall forms and some of the black clad figures turn and paddle to catch the wave. As soon as one could, they stood and began the high speed ride down and across the face of the wave. For a moment in time both excitement and pleasure are pulled from the unrelenting power of a Pacific storm.
In this way style, timing and poise can translate the most powerful of forces to propel oneself both physically and mentally.
We all are much like the surfers mentioned when we draw from such a great and unrelenting force to move us, excite us and we gain an experience that is an overwhelming positive sense of accomplishment. We translate unbridled power in to positive energy.

I walked to coffee. A jacket, an orange t shirt and denim pants. It was Friday. Friday was a day of solidarity for those who want to make a change for human rights. Orange to show we wanted rights to those our county has reported, imprisoned and tortured. The purpose is to bring awareness to those of us who don't know or don't believe this is happening (This could be done by those we elected.) Knowledge is freedom. Knowledge is power and knowledge empowers choice. Road crew orange was the color worn to show all of us need truth, knowledge and to make informed choices then convey them to our representatives. No politician wore orange on Friday and shame lay on the land like a low smelly fog.
