 Summer Times
Back to Full Blog

One thing still free is Summer time. Warm weather and sultry evenings mark a time for outdoor events. Sidewalk cafes, barbecues, sitting with friends, and short trip to meet old friends or make new ones is happening across the land.
We talk more, many of us are watching less of the Boob Tube and finding real news to read and finding truth.
It seems many of us are waking from our silent slumber and seeing what can be done for a better life.
Like the backyard gardens with vine ripened tomatoes, we too are maturing with a new harvest of fresh ideas, innovations and knowledge.
Certainly we have had a enough fertilizer thrown at us from the alleged Govt and Media that we will have a bumper crop of ideas and awakening.

Looks like hot summer ahead!

I will look forward to the harvest of new thoughts and ideas to be plucked from the garden of your mind this fall, friend.

Hi There Cap, Thank you for your uplifting Blog. Where I live on Tenerife, in the Canary Islands, it is nearly always perpetual summer time, after 20 years here, I can feel a change coming on now, the Atlantic winds are stronger, the sea waves are higher than usual, and off and on its really hot, the currents are definitely changing, as predicted in the "Coming Global Superstorm. A good lady friend of mine, of the past 18 years, has just returned from northern Spain, and she said it it has been very hot. Please visit my Holistic Vegetarian section and leave a comment on my new blog, I urgently need help to spread the word on Blogstream. The bloggers seem to be blind and deaf to the News, and whats happening in the world of Climate Change, and the weather. I see on the Yahoo news today that Bush, is lifting the ban on drilling for oil off the US coast, I suppose he has to keep his promise to his lobbyists, who support his outdated and misguided political views. I look forward to hearing from you, when you have time. Sincerely Mike, Tenerife

Capananda - this rings so true in my spirit as well as in reality. I love the thought of the intrigue of the ripening and maturing tomatoes - June

Fertilizer thrown at us from government, Media or elsewhere can never replace home-brewed compost!
